Welcome! I am Brittany Bouse, owner of Wedding Sophisticate.

Every little girl dreams of her wedding day... I dreamed of having many. My collection of inspiration started as a child, and grew throughout my teenage years. This love affair continued to flourish during a seven year career as a 911 dispatcher, as I also spent time coordinating and designing weddings and parties.

These two different professions logistically require a very similar skill-set to be proficient and successful. They both demand the ability to think quickly on one's feet, as well as maintaining a calm demeanor in a high stress environment. I work exceptionally well under pressure, and possess the gifts of prioritization and organization.

I have always had a knack for planning, details, and pretty things, and knew this was a perfect fit. I traded in my headset for a business license, and Wedding Sophisticate was born.

The finer points...

· I love details. Specifically details that are color-coded and in chronological order.

· I am considered a Denverite, but originally from South Florida. I eat grits and still ask for sweet tea. You can take a girl out of the south....

· There is nothing more lovely than the perfect shade of dusty pink.

· I enjoy eating the cookie dough more than the cookie.

· I am the middle child to an older brother and a younger sister. I grew up to appreciate the beauty of hand-me-downs, and to never take anything for granted.

· I organize my closet and shoes by color and season, and have an ongoing to-do list. I wouldn't have it any other way.

· My favorite word is whimsical. Just hearing it puts a smile on my face.
